빠르고 편한 시스템 복사 대체 프로그램 TeraCopy

모처럼만에 맘에느는 프로그램을 만났다.

조금 답답한 시스템 복사 기능을 대신할 만한 프로그램 TeraCopy 이다.

탐색기의 기본 복사 기능은 파일 복사 동작중 탐색기의 다른 조작에 불편함이 있었다.

TeraCopy는 탐색기와 통합되어 복사 기능을 수행하지만 복사 기능은 명령이 전달된 후 독립적으로 실행되기 때문에 그만큼 탐색기의 사용이 자유로워지며 복사 중 일시 정지와 특정 파일을 건너뛰는 기능도 지원한다. 기타 다른 부수적이 기능으로 선택된 파일을 특정 폴더로 복사, 이동 및 삭제 기능을 지원한다.

탐색기와 통합된 TeraCopy

설치는 간단하게 이루어지며 TeraCopy 를 기본으로 사용할지 아니면 특수한 경우에만 사용할지와 완료 후 동작및 진행바 색상을 옵션창에서 설정할 수 있다.

TeraCopy 는 공개용 버전과 Pro 버전이 있는데 Pro 버전에서는 파일 선택 기능과 복사 기능을 수행할 때 쌓여진 큐에서 삭제 기능 및 무료 업데이트를 지원한다.
일반적으로 사용하기에는 공개 버전만으로도 충분 하리라 생각된다.

확장된 TeraCopy

현재 1.22 정식 버전과 2.0 beta3 버전이 있는데 정식 버전은 XP의 테마를 사용하지 않을 경우 UI가 다소 어울리지 않는 부분이 있다.

TeraCopy의 장점 보기

• Copy files faster. TeraCopy uses dynamically adjusted buffers to reduce seek times. Asynchronous copy speeds up file transfer between two physical hard drives.
• Pause and resume file transfers. Pause copy process at any time to free up system resources and continue with a single click.
• Error recovery. In case of copy error, TeraCopy will try several times and in the worse case just skips the file, not terminating the entire transfer.
• Interactive file list. TeraCopy shows failed file transfers and lets you fix the problem and recopy only problem files.
• Shell integration. TeraCopy can completely replace Explorer copy and move functions, allowing you work with files as usual.
• 64-bit OS support. Shell integration works in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of XP and Vista.
• Full Unicode support.
